We hope you are staying well and safe during this challenging year. Covid-19 has impacted everyone in one way or another and as we do our best to stay safe, we must continue to help animals in any way we can.
Kittyhawk was not able to hold its annual sewing day in 2020 but we are fortunate to have had several Kittyhawk crafters who volunteered their time and effort to ensure we are able to make pet beds and toys. We are always grateful to the dedicated volunteers who allow Kittyhawk to continue to help animals.
Over the years West Wind Veterinary Hospital has generously allowed us to sell our pet beds, toys and Christmas baskets through their hospital but this year, Covid has made that impossible. Like other charities Kittyhawk has had to adapt its fundraising efforts and this year we are selling PET CHRISTMAS BASKETS through our website to allow us to continue our neuter and spay program and to assist other animal rescue groups in their endeavours. We have a limited supply of baskets that are made for cats and dogs and we can arrange contactless delivery in the Edmonton area up to December 15th, again through the kindness of our Kittyhawk volunteers. We would appreciate payment via e-transfer or we can accept cash on delivery. As well, every year we a donate Christmas baskets to various local rescue groups in the Edmonton area so that the pets in foster homes can have some Christmas gifts too! Then make up a new supply of pet beds and toys in 2021.
Our baskets contain a comfy pet bed (various sizes depending on your pet), lots of toys, some Temptations treats for cats , and a small surprise gift for each pet parent. We hope your pets will enjoy the selection in our baskets and the basket will make their Christmas a little more special.
On behalf of all our Kittyhawk volunteers, we wish you a very safe and healthy Christmas and a brighter and happier 2021 Thank you for supporting our endeavours to help animals.
